Extend the line to Stourpaine and Durweston halt ?  smile/eek.gif

Why ?

Well, it may only be a halt there but at least you could perhaps do brake van rides between Shillingstone and Stourpaine and they are the only 2 stations (ok not quite intact for stourpaine but can be repaired)on the southern half of the S & D left.

Yes i know it costs money, time etc etc but perhaps one day eh  ;)

According to our local Countryside Ranger (Giles Nicholson) on 'Along These Lines', (available from 'Platform 14' publications) there are people/persons who don't want it. Only they (and Giles) know who and why.
The track, or at least a trackway nearby the original, should be accessible from near Poole, all the way to Bath, but time and money and some positive persuasion is all it takes! If anyone has any of this, please join in!
