Paper Reels and the S&DJR Name: Mark Date Posted: Jul 18, 07 - 1:55 PM Message: Just thought this a matter of interest. I work for my local paper at New Milton and as a paper obviously we need paper! The lorries bring the paper from Avonmouth but the paper comes into the Country at Tilbury. The paper goes from Tilbury to Avonmouth by train right! Then it is loaded onto a lorry. This lorry follow the S&DJR down to New Milton or the M4 A34 this lorry is 40tons. If the S&DJR was still open today hopefully it would be taken by train. So what do you think road or rail! Also the lorry company has it headquaters on the S&DJR trackbed! | |||
