Message: Hi everyone, I'm an enthusiastic new member of the Midsomer Norton project, and after some suggestions by Graham (who's done a top class job on the signal box) up there, I've more or less agreed to try and rebuild the greenhouse (even though I'm not a brickie or a carpenter etc - now there's a challenge).
I'd really love to come down to Shillingstone and see how it's all looking down there, if it wasn't so far away or if I had a car I'd be down there like a shot, but the photo's look great.
Here's to that 9F you've got running all the way from Shillingstone to Radstock and back one day!!
Best wishes
Robin

Message: Hi Becky, I managed to get as far as clearing the exterior outline of the base and then end of term assignments got in the way. Sadly, judging by recent photos I'll have a load more vegetation to clear when I get back on Sunday. The next step will be to take some basic measurements and then start building the walls back up again, but I need the trust to supply bricks and mortar first, and I also notice that one of the sides of the base has bowed outwards. But Graham who built the signal box is the real expert so I'll be asking him how to sort that one out. I'd really like to get some kind of decent structure up by the end of the summer, but we'll see.
