Masbury Station has a new owner and an S@D follower... the trackbed has been cleared of foliage and according to Steam Railway Mag. some rail will be put in place ? Does anyone out there have an Update that they can fill us in . Of course ,joining some stations  would be a logistic nightmare   ,as M.Norton are hoping to go as far as Chilcompton tunnel which is some three miles from Masbury and Binegar in between has been modernized with housing !

Hello,

As has been reported in issue 30 of the S&D Telegraph, The owner wants it to be known that the land he owns is Private property, although there may be the possibility of small organised party visits, possibly in conjunction with special events at Midsomer Norton.

He does plan to restore the station to as near as possible pre-closure condition, and rebuilding the signal box, as and when time and funds permit. He may also lay some demonstration track.

Very Best Wishes,
Bob.
